Dwight Lambert's Story

Dwight Lambert was among the first navigators trained in the new technology known as Radar.  He served as a radar navigator on a B-17 "Flying Fortress" in the European Theater of Operations. He was shot down on his 12th mission over Germany and spent the rest of the war in a German POW camp.
